Gather round children, and I will tell you a tale, a tale of EST past:

In the cold fall of 1995, a bright-eyed young girl named Sally Oswald decided to proved a service to the students of Cheltenham High School.  A non-musical production as an alternative to the Musical.  Not just a play, but a theater group.  One that wasn't just about the final product, but about the process, about learning, about having fun, about culture.  And thus, she had created Eastern Standard Theater.

Peter Lyon lead the first performance of EST improv. If it weren't for him, "EST improv would still be sucking dick for coke."
